Concept design for a fictional building contractor

Your website should make doing business easier.

Many good businesses are let down by websites that were put together quickly, years ago, or around a template. These are the problems we hear most, and what we do about them.

  1. Your website no longer reflects the quality of your work.

What we do A clean, current design built around your real projects, services and standards, so first impressions match what customers get.

  2. Customers struggle to find the information they need.

What we do Pages planned around the questions buyers ask, in the order they ask them: what you do, where, for whom and how to get in touch.

  3. Your services and past projects are hard to see.

What we do Clear service pages and a well-organised projects section, so visitors can see the range and standard of your work at a glance.

  4. Keeping the website up to date takes effort you do not have.

What we do A simple, well-built site that is easy to maintain, with optional Website Care if you would rather not deal with it at all.

You run your business. We manage your website project.

  • A website built around your business

Pages, structure and wording are planned around your services, your customers and the areas you cover, not a template with your logo dropped in.

  • Less work for you

You run your business. We manage the website project, with a guided brief, help organising content and clear review stages. You supply the facts and approve the result.

  • Clear scope and pricing

Before any work starts, you receive a written proposal listing the pages, features, revision rounds and price. Anything extra is agreed with you first.

  • Support beyond launch

Every website package includes a post-launch support period. Optional Website Care keeps the site maintained after that, if you want it.

How a project works

Three stages, with what you do and what we do made clear at each one. Timescales depend on the size of the site and are agreed in your proposal.

  1. Step 1: Tell us about your business

A short conversation and a guided set of questions about your services, customers and goals.

    You
Explain what you offer, who you want to reach and what is not working today.
    We
Recommend the right package and send a written proposal with the scope, price and stages.
  2. Step 2: We plan, build and review

We prepare the page structure, wording and design, then build the agreed website.

    You
Supply the facts and photos only you have, check the content is accurate and give feedback at each review.
    We
Organise your content, design and build the site, and collect your feedback in agreed review rounds.
  3. Step 3: Launch and ongoing support

The site is tested, launched and handed over, with optional care afterwards.

    You
Give final approval and confirm the launch date.
    We
Test on phones and computers, launch, submit your sitemap to Google and hand over access. Website Care is available if you want it.

Clear pricing. Defined scope.

Every package is priced upfront and confirmed in a written proposal before work begins. If your project needs more, we agree any extra cost with you first.

Sandu Founder and your point of contact

A real person behind every project.

I’m Sandu, your point of contact at VERBOLIX. When you get in touch, you deal with me directly. I’ll help you understand the options, agree exactly what your project needs and keep communication clear from your first enquiry to launch.

  • You deal with the person responsible for your project, from the first conversation to launch.
  • Before any work starts, you get a written proposal setting out the scope, price and stages.
  • At each agreed stage you hear what has been done, what is needed from you and what happens next.

Request a three-point website review

We’ll identify three practical areas worth reviewing on your existing website, focusing on clarity, presentation and customer enquiries.

  1. Clarity Can a new visitor tell what you do, who it is for and where you work, within the first few seconds?
  2. Presentation Does the site reflect the standard of your work, on a phone as well as a computer?
  3. Enquiries How easy is it for an interested customer to get in touch or ask for a quote?

You receive a short, personalised email with three practical observations about your own website. It is not a full SEO audit, an accessibility certification or a detailed technical assessment, and there is no obligation to buy anything.

Fields marked with an asterisk are required.

We use these details to prepare and send your review, and to reply if you have questions. Requesting a review does not sign you up to marketing.

Questions business owners ask

Straight answers about cost, timing, ownership and support. If yours is not here, ask Sandu directly.

Ask a question

How much does a website cost?

Website Launch is £795 for up to 5 pages, Website Growth is £1,495 for up to 10 pages, and Website Plus starts from £2,495 for larger websites of around 15 to 20 pages. Your proposal confirms the exact scope and price in writing before any work begins, and any extra cost is agreed with you first.

How long does a website take to build?

It depends on the size of the site and how quickly content and feedback come together. A focused small business website typically takes a few weeks once the content is agreed, and larger sites take longer. We agree a realistic timeline with you at the start and set it out in your proposal.

What information do I need to provide?

The facts only you know: your services, the areas you cover, your contact details, any accreditations, and photos of your work if you have them. We send a structured set of questions to make this straightforward, and we ask you to check the finished content for accuracy before it goes live.

Can you help prepare the website content?

Yes. Every website package includes copy refined from the information you supply. We organise your material, shape it into clear pages and suggest what is missing. You review and approve the wording, because you know your business best.

Will my website work on mobile phones?

Yes. Every site is designed mobile first and checked on a range of screen sizes before launch, from small phones to large monitors.

Will I own my website?

Once all amounts due have been paid, you receive the rights agreed in your proposal to the website we create for you. Your domain stays registered in your name, and you have access to every account we set up for you.

Are hosting and domain registration included?

Your domain should be registered in an account you control, and you normally pay the renewals directly. We can set it up and configure it for you. Hosting arrangements depend on your project and whether you choose Website Care, and your proposal sets out exactly what is covered.

Can I move my website to another provider?

Yes. Once everything due has been paid, we provide the website files and a reasonable handover. Moving to another provider can involve some migration or configuration work, which is quoted separately based on what is needed.

Do you offer maintenance after launch?

Yes, if you want it. Website Launch includes 14 days of post-launch support and Website Growth includes 30 days. After that, Website Care at £49 a month covers monitoring, updates, backups suited to your hosting and minor content changes. It is optional.

Can you guarantee enquiries or Google rankings?

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Search engines decide rankings, and enquiries depend on many things outside a website. What we commit to is building a clear, fast, well-structured site to a high standard, with the SEO foundations search engines expect.
